newcomer in town
i've just joined up to your forum, and have just sent my restration papers for the life after racing club.
i live in Hillcrest (QLD) and I own a beautiful 10year old standy gelding,
i love him to bits
i want to get more involved with other standy lovers and maybe start taking my boy to outings and gymkannas some time down the track, i still have a lot to work on him as i have only started to re-educate him in the last day or so, i bought him off the track as a retired pacer, he has a lovely kind nature but has been miss understood as a horse.
i would like to start riding him eventually but also like to keep him in the sulky. i am wondering if there are any events around that can help encourage me with my standy?

"You should probably know that I’m breaking the rules right now. Well, not technically, since he said I was never to walk through his door again, and I came in the window… But, still, the intent was clear."
