well today we had a working bee at pony club and afterwards even though it was rain sun rain sun rain sun LOL i went riding wiht my friend smellie (ellie haha) on her not so crazy anymore arab Tinka. she had his bit upside down in his mouth and he was going crazy all the other times and now shes fixed it, and he was soooo quiet. Victor was a total pain in the butt like always lol jig jogging everywhere paced a lot toda but his feet and a bit soft so they would have been a bit sore.

Victor attacked Tinka and Tinka dodged the attacked but Smellie got bitten instead =[ but it was still funny LOL

next friday i'm having the day off and going up to noosa northshore with Victor and mums friend on her horse Jet and maybe even Smellie on Tinka. Looking very forward to that!

anyways heres some pictures of today, excuse my happy but rather fat face LOLOL and one of Dixie because it's the best picture i've ever taken and an old one of Victor that i could pass off as QH LOL

Havn't posted one of these in a while

So heres a HUGE update =]

As many of you know I am no longer selling Victor and will be doing natural horsemanship so I can try and understand his rearing and horse aggression issues. I am starting that on the 11th and 12th of July and CANNOT WAIT lol.

Down side-He has lost weight dramatically. He is not eating when it is raining so he is at risk of worsening any ulcers and weightloss. In the last month hes been acting weird. The way he moves, his stubborness, his rearing and refusing and his unhappy attitude.

As Victor has been doing something for 5 years then suddenly his life changes and now hes doing something COMPLETELY different his muscles are sure to be constantly sore and changeing and growing so tomorrow he is having the bowen therapist for the first time out to see whats going on with the poor bubby. If that doesn't help, we'll get the vet out.

I have since cut his mane and am in the process of pulling it, he loves it, falls asleep lol.

When we get out of debt and being broke I am getting some lessons in jumping =] Our highest we've done so far is a cross rail with a straight rail behind it, 80cm high and 20cm wide =]

I am looking forward to the Redcliffe show this weekend as I know Victor will do me proud as always =] One Question-When in a normal standardbred class, do i still put a red ribbon in his tail?

So yes theres the update =]

nawww i think its great that you have decided to keep him and work things out!

You will have to keep us posted on how you are going with the natural horsemanship as im keen to know if following those sorts of things work!

my friend TB has ulcers as well. When we got the chiro out she said to feed her this stuff that clears it and we gave her some tablets in her feed as well! Dunno if it has worked just yet as the chiro came out the other day and said that she still needs to continue with it.

omg jumping lessons will be awesomeness (it IS a word hahahaha)

The wya the bowen therapist explains it is that when you get chiro done, it adjusts the bones, but the muscles are set around that bone and if the bones are moved, the muscles will move them bakc in place.

So it's always good to do bowen or massage within 24hours of a chiro =]
